Boxing is

An expresion of learning, An excellent form of sef-defence, Suitable for all family members.

 

 

The classes are focuses on fitness and correct technique so one of the first things that we teach is punching technique (down to making a fist properly and keeping defence at all times) and movement.

 

The Boxing class is suitable for all Beginners ..Mans&woman's (Age over 17th)and it’s up to you and your nephew how far you want to take it (though we obviously won’t put you in the ring until you are ready!). We have a number of students who wish to fight competitively but the majority of people that come along are just interested in the fitness and/or self defense aspects that boxing offers. The environment is fun and friendly so you both should enjoy it as well.

 

Mr. Kia has a structured level for Beginners&Advance training.we all work though as we develop our technique.

 

Beginners is all about making a fist correctly, jabs and straight punches, moving backwards and forwards and basic evasive techniques of slipping and sliding. Once you pass the Beginners test to show that you’ve picked up all the skill you will move & focus on hooks and uppercuts as well as rolling defensive techniques and combinations. and than touch sparing will come.. if the student is ready and happy to try it but there is no pressure if not..
